The new Ford Explorer 2020 was presented in the USA. The large Ford crossover will be shown to the public at the Detroit Auto Show, and it will go on sale in the summer with a starting price of $32,765. 
The sixth-generation Ford Explorer is built on a new platform and is 50 kg lighter (from 1970 kg). It has a familiar silhouette but a new front end with a chrome grille and sleek headlights. 
For the first time, the interior features a virtual dashboard and a tablet-format touchscreen.
The automatic transmission lever has been replaced by a rotary selector. Versions with six and seven seats are available. 
The Ford Explorer’s equipment has been seriously expanded: the base model already includes Wi-Fi, dual-zone climate control, a rearview camera, rain and light sensors, pre-collision braking systems, lane-keeping assist, and blind spot monitoring. 
The top-of-the-line Platinum version adds a leather interior, keyless access, power seats, parking autopilot, wireless smartphone charging, and a 980-watt audio system. 
The Ford Explorer 2020 is equipped with 2.3 L (300 hp) and 3.0 L (365 hp) turbocharged gasoline engines and a 10-speed automatic transmission.
Rear-wheel and all-wheel drive options will be available.
