In Germany, the new Porsche Cayenne Coupe was presented. The first coupe-crossover from Porsche will go on sale in May with prices starting from 83,711 euros. It will compete with the BMW X6 and Mercedes GLE Coupe.
The new Porsche Cayenne Coupe differs from the standard model with a more sloping roof lowered by 20 mm. In addition, a retractable spoiler has appeared at the back, which activates at speeds over 90 km/h.
The interior layout remains familiar, but new sports seats are installed in the front, and there are two separate seats in the rear. By the way, the rear passengers sit slightly lower than in the regular 2019 Porsche Cayenne. The trunk volume is 625 liters in the standard version and 600 liters in the Turbo.
Initially, only two engines will be offered to choose from. The base 2019 Porsche Cayenne Coupe received a three-liter turbocharged six-cylinder engine with 340 hp, while the Turbo features a 550 hp turbocharged V8 with a 4.0-liter capacity.
The more powerful version accelerates to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 286 km/h. The basic configuration of the Porsche Cayenne Coupe includes a rear-view camera, active suspension, and 20-inch alloy wheels.
