At the New York Auto Show, the new Subaru Outback 2020 was presented. The next generation of the off-road station wagon will go on sale in the fall.
The off-road station wagon Subaru Outback retains its familiar design with plastic cladding but is built on a completely new platform, and its body rigidity has increased by 70%. The ground clearance is 220 mm.
The main innovation in the cabin is a large 11.6-inch touchscreen in the style of Tesla.
The basic configuration of the Subaru Outback 2020 includes Wi-Fi, 8 airbags, automatic braking systems, lane control, and driver fatigue monitoring.
Available options include a 2.5-liter boxer engine with 182 hp and a new 2.4-liter 260-hp turbo engine. Both versions of the Subaru Outback 2020 are equipped with a CVT and permanent all-wheel drive. X-Mode off-road mode and a hill descent control system are also provided.
