In the USA, a tuned Chevrolet Sonic (that’s what they call Aveo there) was presented. The compact hatchback has been turned into a real rallycross car. 
The project was implemented by the tuning studio PMR Motorsports. They managed to fit a 6.2-liter V8 LS3 from the previous generation Corvette under the hood of the Chevrolet Aveo. 
The Chevrolet engine produces 430 hp and 576 Nm, and the front-wheel-drive transmission is clearly incapable of handling all this power.
Therefore, the 2018 Chevrolet Aveo received all-wheel drive. Of course, the suspension and brakes have been upgraded. 
The Chevrolet rally sports car can be recognized by its widened wheel arches and an enlarged front air intake. A safety cage appeared in the cabin.
