Photos of the 2019 BMW 8 Series have surfaced online. The new BMW convertible will be shown in a month at the Los Angeles Auto Show, and it will go on sale at the beginning of next year.
Like the BMW 8 Coupe 2019, the soft-top version features an elegant design with a very long hood and widened rear fenders. A sizable spoiler is integrated into the trunk lid.
Inside the cabin, the virtual instrument panel and transparent gear lever catch the eye.
The front seats are divided by a high transmission tunnel.

The photos show a charged version of the BMW M850i xDrive with a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine producing 530 hp. It can accelerate to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds, and its top speed is limited to 250 km/h. A 600-hp BMW M8 convertible and a diesel version are also promised.
All BMW 8 models in 2019 will have adaptive dampers, and the options list includes a fully controllable chassis and active anti-roll bars.
