Автор: Photos of the Jeep Gladiator have leaked online. This is the name that the Jeep Wrangler pickup will be given, which will be unveiled at the end of the month at the Los Angeles Auto Show. 
The vehicle follows the spirit of the 2018 Jeep Wrangler and is supplemented with a one and a half meter cargo platform. Initially, it will be offered only in a four-door version. Interestingly, it can be ordered with a soft top and removable doors.
Initially, the Jeep pickup will only be available with a 3.6-liter gasoline V6 engine producing 285 hp, while the 2.0-liter turbo engine will not be offered. However, a 3.0-liter 260 hp turbodiesel engine will appear later. 
The new Jeep Gladiator can be equipped with a 6-speed manual or an 8-speed automatic transmission. It has a payload capacity of 725 kg and is capable of towing a 3.5-ton trailer. 
Naturally, four-wheel drive with a low-range transmission will be mandatory, and options will include front and rear differential locks.
The Jeep pickup will be able to ford water up to 75 cm deep.
