The first images of the future Ferrari van have surfaced online. No, this is not a joke: the car is being worked on by designer Niels van Roij, who previously created the Tesla Model S shooting brake.
The project is based on the Ferrari 550 Maranello coupe, and the design is inspired by the racing station wagon Ferrari 250 GT Breadvan (yes, such a sports car did exist). The car has a very sleek profile and wide rear fenders.
The Ferrari van is planned to be built in a year.
The technology will likely remain unchanged. Recall that the Ferrari 550 Maranello supercar is equipped with a 5.5-liter 485 hp V12 and a 6-speed manual transmission.
