The new McLaren Speedtail is referred to as the successor to the legendary McLaren F1. It is a high-speed sports-tourer model. The name Speedtail hints at the extended «tail» of the car – this design helps achieve high speeds.
Additionally, there are small retractable spoilers. At the front, the car slightly resembles the McLaren 720S coupe. 
Like its famous predecessor, the new McLaren hypercar is a three-seater. The driver sits in the center while the passengers are on the sides. The front panel features three displays.

The McLaren Speedtail coupe is equipped with a 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo and an electric motor. The total power of the hybrid system is about 1000 hp. Characteristics of the McLaren are not yet revealed, but it is known that its maximum speed exceeds 400 km/h. 
A total of 106 McLaren Speedtail vehicles will be produced – exactly the same number as the F1. Despite the price of $2.1 million, they have all already been sold.
