The much-publicized Russian car Crimea has not become mass-produced, although it was introduced three years ago. Now the roadster has been modernized and lit up in an unexpected place – near the museum ‘Ukraine’ (strangely enough, this is in Belarus).
Considering the name of the car, it turned out to be quite symbolic. The car, by the way, has new LED optics and an enlarged radiator grille. It is now based on a monocoque, and the body panels have become of higher quality.
The Crimea roadster is still equipped with a modest 1.6-liter engine from Lada Granta with a capacity of a whole 106 horsepower. The car, of course, is light, but for a sports car, it’s somewhat not enough. It also has a new hydraulic clutch and retuned suspension.
The developers plan to produce 10-30 thousand roadsters a year. However, we have very vague doubts about this, as even the experimental batch of machines has not yet been assembled.
