The Mercedes-AMG One supercar set a new Nürburgring record. The hybrid coupe completed a lap of the famous racetrack in 6 minutes 35.183 seconds.

The supercar’s time is immediately 13 seconds better than the previous record holder, the Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series. The record was set as early as October 28, but it has only now become known. The driver of the Mercedes-AMG One was German racer Mario Engel.

The result is not surprising considering the characteristics of the Mercedes-AMG One. The supercar is equipped with a 1049-horsepower unit from a Formula 1 car. It can accelerate to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 352 km/h.

A total of only 275 of these cars will be produced. The price of the Mercedes-AMG One is 3 million euros, and all the supercars have long been sold out.
