An Explosion Occurred in the MREO in Melitopol, Where Russian License Plates Were Issued

In the temporarily occupied Melitopol in the Zaporizhzhia region, a fire occurred under strange circumstances in the local MREO, where on August 8, the “ceremonial” opening of a new “pseudo-agency” for vehicle registration took place. Recall that in southern Ukraine, the occupiers are issuing Russian license plates or so-called temporary non-Ukrainian sample plates.

But last night a strong explosion was heard in the building. According to the city’s mayor Ivan Fedorov, “The occupiers pompously opened another pseudo-agency there for issuing fake vehicle documents. They even managed to renovate. Fortunately, their plans were literally blown away.”

As for the enemy media, they write the following:

“The interdistrict registration-exam department of the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate began its work in Melitopol. In the opened MREO, car owners can register their vehicles, if they have a Russian passport, exchange their driver’s licenses for a Russian-style license, or receive service center services. Previously, a State Traffic Inspection Department was opened in the Kherson region.

Currently, about 70% of the Zaporizhzhia region’s territories are liberated, and on August 8, the head of the regional administration, Yevhen Balytskyi, signed an order to hold a referendum on the reunification of the region with Russia”.

It should be noted that the fire in the building of the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs, “appropriated” by the occupiers, may not be the first and not the last. Especially if we talk about Kherson, where Russian plates with code 184 are issued voluntarily-compulsorily, but given the negligence and irresponsibility of the local “officials”, a fire in other occupied MREOs is quite likely. They burn anywhere and do not follow fire safety rules at all…
