The first official photos of the Skoda Superb 2020 have been presented. The flagship model of the Czech brand has undergone an update and will go on sale in the fall. The new Škoda Superb is recognizable by its revised headlights, grille, and front bumper with a wide air intake. The taillights are now connected by a chrome trim. Even in the basic version, the optics are LED, and for an additional cost, it can be matrix.
The Skoda Superb Sportline has also appeared. This version can be recognized by its body kit and 18-inch wheels. In addition, an off-road Scout version is expected soon.
The interior of the Skoda Superb 2020 features improved trim and, for the first time for an additional charge, a virtual instrument panel is offered. A large 9.2-inch touchscreen is now also available.
Among the options are automatic braking and semi-autonomous driving systems. The selection includes gasoline turbo engines with displacements of 1.5 liters (150 hp) and 2.0 liters (190 and 272 hp), as well as turbo diesel engines with displacements of 1.6 liters (120 hp) and 2.0 liters (150 and 190 hp). A newcomer is the 218-horsepower plug-in hybrid Škoda Superb, capable of traveling 55 km on electric power.
