At the Broad Arrow auction in Zurich on November 7, a 2008 Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Roadster in McLaren Edition specification will be offered. The car, with 20,305 km on the odometer, has been preliminarily estimated at $701,518–823,521. Classic Driver reports this.
McLaren Edition: six roadsters with factory upgrades

The McLaren Special Operations program was launched in 2010 for owners of already-built SLRs. It was limited to 25 cars, among which only six were roadsters. The offered example has number 013, and its conversion, according to the lot description, was completed in June 2017.
The package included carbon-fiber body elements, modified diffusers, improved brake cooling, and a revised active air brake. According to MSO, downforce increased by 15% compared with the 722 Edition version.

The suspension was retuned, the car was lowered by 10 mm, and the steering was made sharper. Overall, the modifications reduced weight by 50 kg.
Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren: V8 and additional cooling
The model was equipped with a supercharged 5.4-liter V8 producing 626 hp. For the standard SLR, acceleration to 100 km/h was quoted at 3.8 seconds and a top speed of over 330 km/h.

This particular roadster received an upgraded Low Temperature Cooler Upgrade system, which allows it to maintain full power for longer at high temperatures.
The body is painted Anthracite Grey, and the soft top is black. The interior combines anthracite leather and Alcantara with McLaren Orange accents. The brake calipers are painted in the same color.
