In 2019, PEUGEOT is transitioning to active electrification of its model range. To mark the beginning of a new era, they presented the updated PEUGEOT slogan – MOTION & e-MOTION. Peugeot changes slogan and chooses electrification

The PEUGEOT motto – MOTION & EMOTION was introduced in 2010 for the brand’s 200th anniversary. It embodied the ‘alchemy’ that has existed in the work of engineers and designers since 1810, while also emphasizing that emotions have always been important for Peugeot. The new version of the slogan with the prefix “e” indicates a gradual shift towards electric vehicles.

The motto MOTION & e-MOTION was previously used at the presentation of the PEUGEOT e-Legend concept car, as well as the hybrid modifications of PEUGEOT 3008, 508, and 508 SW. Starting from the Geneva Motor Show 2019, the new slogan will be actively used in all countries. Along with it, PEUGEOT’s ambassador has also changed. A huge sculpture of a Lion, symbolizing the brand’s pride, strength, and excellence, was developed by the designers of PEUGEOT Design Lab in honor of the 160th anniversary of the logo and presented at the Geneva Motor Show 2018. In Geneva 2019, the Lion will come to life with green and blue lighting effects reflecting on its muscular surface.

PEUGEOT stands on the threshold of the electric vehicle era, and the electrification of its emblem is a confirmation of the new development vector.
