Hennessey studio has already taken on tuning the Jeep Grand Cherokee more than once. However, now the Americans have outdone themselves, as their modified Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT Trackhawk is lightning fast.
The 6.2-liter V8 now has a new mechanical supercharger that increased the power from 707 to 1218 hp. The peak torque has increased to 1354 Nm.
Now the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk is capable of punishing even the Bugatti Chiron hypercar. Accelerating to 100 km/h takes only 2.3 seconds, and the quarter-mile run is done in 9.66 seconds, with the speed at the finish line being 233 km/h. The top speed is 322 km/h.
The Jeep Grand Cherokee from Hennessey is also fitted with special Nitto 555R drag racing tires sized 275/40 R20. Additionally, the interior now has a button to disable all-wheel drive.
Only 24 such Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawks are planned to be released. You can buy the Jeep for 179 thousand dollars, which means it is cheaper than, for example, the Porsche Cayenne Turbo.
