by In auto racing, accidents involving female drivers are not very common, as the fair sex is underrepresented in this sport. However, incidents can sometimes be very spectacular, like the accident of Sheena Monk during the Lamborghini Super Trofeo wave.
The competitions were held at the famous Laguna Seca racetrack. The American racer in a Lamborghini Huracan entered the turn too quickly (apparently, the brakes failed), causing her to fly off the track and crash into a tire barrier.
The Lamborghini sports car flew up and flipped over in the air, then landed on its wheels in the gravel trap. Fortunately, Sheena Monk was not seriously injured.
