by Official photos of the third-generation BMW Z4 have been presented. The rear-wheel-drive BMW roadster will make its debut in a week at the retro-show in Pebble Beach (USA).
The new BMW Z4 2019 visually is almost identical to last year’s pre-production concept car. It features a long hood, with the cabin moved as far back as possible.
The developers have abandoned the folding metal roof in favor of a traditional soft top. The BMW convertible is built on the same platform as the revived Toyota Supra 2019 coupe.
Inside the BMW Z4, a virtual dashboard grabs attention. The central panel is traditionally turned towards the driver, and the seats are separated by a high tunnel.
Pictured is the top-of-the-line BMW Z4 M40i with a 3.0-liter turbocharged six-cylinder engine producing 385 hp. A more affordable version with a 2.0-liter 252-hp turbo engine is also planned. Versions with a 6-speed manual and an 8-speed automatic transmission will be available.
