New Audi Q3: First Details
The Audi company continues to update its model range by presenting the first teasers of the new generation Q3. The official presentation is scheduled for June 16, with the manufacturer promising that the model will set “new standards in several aspects”.
Despite limited information, the published images allow us to see pixel daytime running lights and streamlined body lines. Independent photographers have already managed to capture the new model almost without camouflage, which has received a rounded radiator grille and split headlights.
Technical Features
The interior is likely to inherit features from other brand novelties, including an 11.9-inch digital instrument panel and a 14.5-inch multimedia system. Among the possible power units are 1.5-liter and 2.0-liter gasoline engines, and for the European market – a diesel option. The appearance of a hybrid version with an electric range of about 113 km is also expected.
“With over two million cars sold since the launch of the first generation, the Audi Q3 is one of our most successful models,” said Audi CEO Gernot Döllner.
In recent years, the Q3 has become a real workhorse for the brand, especially in the European market. The design and technology update is intended to maintain the model’s competitiveness among rivals such as the BMW X1 and Mercedes GLA. Particular interest is caused by the potential hybrid version, which could significantly reduce the model’s environmental footprint.
