BRABUS XL 800 Easily Outperforms Land Rover Defender

Brabus has introduced another extreme version of the G-Class called the XL 800. As expected, the model received a number of modifications: an updated suspension with portal axles, a carbon fiber body kit, a redesigned interior, and a bi-turbo V8 engine producing 788 horsepower. This is an option for those who find the regular G63 too ordinary.

Record Ground Clearance

The Brabus XL 800 sets a new standard for suspension height – a full 470 mm, which is 119 mm more than the standard model (351 mm). This result was achieved thanks to a special suspension with portal axles, an individual front axle, and proprietary RideControl shock absorbers.

This off-roader will not leave you unnoticed. It is equipped with wide fenders with carbon fiber inserts, which harmoniously combines with the hood featuring an air intake and sporty bumpers. Additional accents include a roof LED panel, a spoiler, power grilles, side exhaust pipes, and retractable running boards.

The car sits on 22-inch Monoblock Z/HD alloy wheels with Pirelli Scorpion off-road tires. Unlike most G-Class versions, there is no spare wheel on the rear doors.

A Luxurious Interior with Attention to Detail

The interior of the XL 800 is executed in the signature “Masterpiece” style using natural slate-colored leather with stitching, carbon fiber inserts, and dynamic headliner trim. Even the sun blinds received a carbon fiber coating. Additional monitors and indicators on the roof are provided for passengers.

Impressive Power

Under the hood works a modified bi-turbo 4.0-liter V8 from AMG, which delivers 788 hp and 1000 Nm of torque. This allows the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds. The top speed is limited to 210 km/h – more is simply not needed for such a tall vehicle.

Price? The Cost Matches the Status

The official price of the Brabus XL 800 is not disclosed, but it is known for sure that it will be significantly higher than the standard G63. With such extensive changes to the exterior, interior, chassis, and powertrain, this off-roader will be a true investment. If you are asking about the price – this model is probably not for your budget.
