Model Range Strategy
It is important to note that these will not be completely new developments, and certainly not a new Evo. Instead, Mitsubishi plans to introduce models that are already in its global portfolio, many of which are rebranded versions of Renault cars. The model range is expected to focus primarily on SUVs and crossovers.
International Motors will take on the responsibilities for import and distribution across the UK, confirming that future products will be supplied directly from the existing Mitsubishi Motors catalog.
Network Development Plans
Beyond a brief description of its retail strategy, Mitsubishi is keeping most details secret. The company stated that it will appoint several new dealers to manage sales and customer service, continuing to rely on its established network of over 100 service centers.
The only teaser image accompanying the announcement appears to show the current Outlander PHEV, which is likely to be the first model to appear in the UK, with other models to be added later.

Among potential additions are the new Colt, which is a rebranded Renault Clio, and the latest ASX, which shares its platform with the Renault Captur. The Eclipse Cross, expected to be a version of the electric Renault Scenic, is also under consideration.
