The little-known company Indecent has unveiled its modern interpretation of the Porsche 930 Turbo Slantnose, and it seems this car may look even better than the new Slantnose rumored to be developed by Porsche itself.
Ultrace debut and exterior design
Previously shown last year as renders, the Indecent 020 made its physical premiere at the Ultrace show in Düsseldorf, Germany, this past weekend. Its stance and road presence could rival the current 911 GT3 RS, yet the car still clearly borrows features from older 911s.
The car started its life as a 911 Carrera 2 of the 991.1 generation before Indecent created a custom body kit for it. Undoubtedly, the highlight is the front end, featuring a completely new nose with widened arches, aerodynamic louvers, and the removal of the standard 911 headlights. The lights have been repositioned on both sides of the radiator grille, somewhat reminiscent of the Aston Martin Valour.
White on white and technical details
In addition to the new front end, Indecent created a custom rear section that matches the aggressiveness of the RS model but without large side air intakes. At the back, a special wing with struts mounted directly to the car’s chassis is installed. The entire car is painted white, including the 20×10-inch front and 20×12-inch rear wheels, shod in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.
This modern Slantnose is also equipped with an upgraded Brembo braking system featuring carbon-ceramic discs, six-piston calipers at the front, and four-piston calipers at the rear. Additionally, adjustable Ohlins coilovers and a front axle lift system have been added.
Engine and interior
As for the engine, the 3.4-liter flat-six has been upgraded not with turbocharging but with a supercharger, allowing it to produce 550 hp. This engine is paired with a seven-speed manual gearbox featuring a non-standard shift lever and drives the rear wheels. The mechanical changes are completed by a stainless steel exhaust system.
If the exterior paint is restrained, the interior is anything but modest. The cabin is finished in purple leather and Alcantara, complemented by a color-matched roll cage and carbon fiber bucket seats.
This project by Indecent demonstrates how a small tuning company can create an extremely cohesive and impressive car that not only pays homage to the classic 930 model but also offers its own vision, technically and visually competing with the most modern sports cars. The use of a supercharger instead of turbochargers is an interesting solution that sets this car apart from most modern Porsche tuning projects, giving it a unique character. The combination of a restrained white exterior with an extravagant purple interior makes this car a true statement that will undoubtedly attract the attention of connoisseurs at global auto shows.
