Mitsubishi Triton Terra: Premium version for Brazilian farmers
The Mitsubishi Triton has always been considered a reliable and durable workhorse, but the company decided that this is not the only possible image. A new version has now appeared in Brazil — the Triton Terra, which combines a leather interior, chrome details, and the highest level of equipment. This model has become the most expensive in the lineup, both in price and specifications.
History and positioning of the Terra model
The name Terra is already familiar to the Brazilian market — it was previously used for local limited editions aimed at agribusiness. Unlike the off-road versions Savana and Outdoor, Terra focuses on premium features. The new version was created after a thorough study of local buyers’ needs.
Exterior design and exclusive details
The unique Terra specification includes exclusive color combinations and many shiny elements. The Dynamic Shield, Mitsubishi logos, mirrors, door handles, and 4×4 badges are finished in chrome, while the underbody protection and roof rails are silver.
The body is available in Beige, White, or Black colors. The first two options have a brown lower section that hides dirt. The model also received special badges on the doors and 20-inch alloy wheels with road tires.
Interior and comfort
When you open the doors of the Triton Terra, you see automatic retractable running boards. The interior is upholstered in natural leather in a combination of black and brown colors. The headrests feature Terra logos, brown stitching, a leather steering wheel, and durable rubber floor mats.
Equipment and technology
The equipment list matches the premium status: a 9-inch multimedia screen, a 7-inch instrument display, a JBL audio system, wireless charging, a 360-degree camera, parking sensors, seven airbags, and a full ADAS suite — all included as standard.
Practicality and cargo bed
Mitsubishi did not forget about practicality. The cargo bed has a protective coating, a power-operated cover with remote control, LED lighting, and a rear dampening system.

Technical specifications
Under the hood is the most powerful version of the 2.4-liter bi-turbo diesel engine, producing 202 hp (151 kW / 205 PS) and 470 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission and the Super Select 4WD-II all-wheel drive system.
The Terra also features electric power steering and an expanded drive mode selector with seven settings: Normal, Eco, Gravel, Snow, Mud, Sand, and Rock.
Launch and limitations
The 2027 Mitsubishi Triton Terra debuted at the Agrishow 2026 exhibition. Production is limited to 300 units for Brazil. The price is R$ 364,990 ($73,700), making it the most expensive Triton in the region, significantly exceeding previous special versions such as the Savana.
Interestingly, Mitsubishi decided to bet on a niche product that combines the utility of a pickup truck with luxury elements. The limited production run of 300 units creates artificial scarcity and emphasizes the model’s exclusivity. Given the price, which is almost double the cost of standard versions, the Terra is aimed at wealthy farmers and entrepreneurs who value comfort and status but are not ready to give up the practicality of a pickup truck. This approach allows Mitsubishi to occupy a unique position in the market, where competitors usually offer either purely work-oriented or purely premium models.
