Hyundai is expanding the lineup of its most popular vehicle, the Tucson Hybrid, by adding three new versions. Among them are more affordable front-wheel-drive hybrids and a new stylish Night version.
New Night Version: Black Style
Hyundai has introduced the new 2026 Tucson Hybrid Night AWD version, which joins the “black” design trend. It is based on the Limited trim and features a glossy black front end and radiator grille. This is complemented by black mirrors, black window moldings, and black emblems.
The new model is available in three colors: Ash Black, Creamy White Pearl, and Ecotronic Gray. All are combined with a black roof and 19-inch glossy black alloy wheels with silver Hyundai logos.
Since the Night version is based on the Limited, it comes with rich equipment: LED headlights, acoustic front glass, a panoramic sunroof, and a power tailgate. Inside, there is a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch infotainment system. It also includes front seats with heating and ventilation, a heated leather steering wheel, dual-zone climate control, and an eight-speaker Bose audio system.
The price for the new model starts at $44,175, which includes a $1,600 delivery fee. This is $500 more than the standard Tucson Hybrid Limited. The vehicle is already arriving at dealerships.
More Affordable Front-Wheel-Drive Hybrids
Hyundai has also added SE and SEL Hybrid versions with front-wheel drive to the lineup. This lowers the entry price for the model range. For example, the 2026 Tucson Hybrid SE FWD costs from $32,550 including delivery, which is $1,500 less than the all-wheel-drive version.
Similarly, the Tucson Hybrid SEL FWD starts at $34,000, also $1,500 less than the all-wheel-drive variant.
Thus, Hyundai is not only updating the design of its bestseller but also making hybrid versions more accessible to a wider range of buyers. The introduction of front-wheel-drive modifications allows for significant savings, which could be a decisive factor for those who do not need all-wheel drive. At the same time, the Night version offers a more aggressive and stylish appearance for those who want to stand out without losing a high level of equipment. This shows Hyundai’s desire to meet diverse customer needs, keeping the Tucson one of the market leaders.
