Unique Daytona Shooting Brake Created on the Basis of Ferrari 599 GTB
The project was developed by Dutch designer Niels van Roij together with his team. The Daytona Shooting Brake Hommage is a modern reinterpretation of the 1972 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Shooting Brake, which was commissioned by Luigi Chinetti Jr. and built by Panther Westwinds at the time.
More than 15,000 hours were spent creating the modern version. The body was significantly redesigned using aluminum and carbon fiber. The car received an extended roofline, a vertical rear window, and lifting side sections for access to the luggage compartment.
The interior was also reworked. Quilted leather and carbon fiber were used for the upholstery, and the instruments were moved closer to the center, similar to the 1972 car. The luggage compartment was trimmed with leather, carbon fiber, and machined aluminum elements.
Daytona Shooting Brake Price at Auction Reaches $759 Thousand
The project is based on the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano. The production coupe is equipped with a 6.0-liter naturally aspirated V12 producing 620 hp and 608 Nm of torque. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes 3.7 seconds, and the top speed is 330 km/h.
The Daytona Shooting Brake Hommage is listed as lot 29 at the Broad Arrow Auctions sale in Knokke-Heist, scheduled for October 9, 2026. The preliminary estimate for the unique car ranges from $525,555 to $759,135.
