Audi has officially unveiled the third generation of the Q7 crossover. Despite the arrival of the new flagship SUV Q9, the model has retained its status as one of the brand’s most technologically advanced vehicles and has received a fully updated design, a modern interior, and new powertrains.
The new model will go on sale as early as July and will become one of the main competitors of the BMW X5 in the premium large crossover segment.
Audi Q7 2027 gets a new design and smart lighting

Compared to its predecessor, the new Q7 looks significantly more massive. The car has received a high front bumper, widened wheel arches, and two-level lighting that is already used in new Audi models.
Particular attention was paid to lighting. LED headlights can project warnings about slippery roads, and turn signals are displayed directly on the asphalt. The system can also warn other road users about door opening or an emergency situation ahead.
The interior almost replicates the interior of the future Audi Q9. The driver gets a large curved OLED display, and the front passenger gets a separate screen. In addition, the crossover is equipped with a panoramic roof with variable transparency.
The new Audi Q7 offers up to 591 hp and a parking autopilot

In different markets, the crossover will be offered with different engines. In Europe, the starting option will be a 3.0-liter diesel “six” producing 295 hp with a mild hybrid system.
For the US, a gasoline V6 with 429 hp has been prepared, while the sporty SQ7 has received a modernized 4.0-liter V8, the power of which has been increased to 591 hp. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes only 3.7 seconds.
Among the key technologies:
- adaptive air suspension;
- all-wheel steering;
- permanent all-wheel drive;
- parking maneuver memory system;
- automatic emergency stopping of the vehicle if the driver loses consciousness.

Audi claims a trunk volume of up to 722 liters in the seven-seat configuration and almost 2000 liters with the seats folded down. The new Q7 has become noticeably more technologically advanced than its predecessor, although the manufacturer has not yet announced its price.
Audi also reported that sales of the new Q7 in Germany will start in July 2026. The starting price of the crossover is from 87,900 euros.
