The Ringbrothers workshop presented a reworked 1965 Pontiac GTO convertible called Billie at the SEMA show. The project was dedicated to the car that the customer’s mother once owned. This is reported by Carscoops.
Pontiac GTO Restomod: new chassis and LT4 engine

The basis of the convertible was the Fast Track Stage III chassis from Roadster Shop. It was fitted with adjustable Fox coilovers, special front control arms, and six-piston Brembo brakes on both axles.
The LT4 engine from Wegner Motorsports develops 650 hp and about 881 Nm of torque. Torque is sent to the rear wheels through a Bowler Performance 10L90E automatic transmission. The most powerful original GTO Convertibles had 360 hp.
For Billie, HRE wheels were made measuring 19 inches at the front and 20 inches at the rear. They are fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires sized 295/35 and 345/30 respectively.
Billie Convertible: wider body and a selector from a coffee machine

During the rebuild, the car was completely disassembled. The new body kit increased the body width by 12.7 cm. The hood with a larger air intake, the lower front panel, and the rear diffuser were made of carbon fiber.
Door panels combine steel and carbon fiber. The radiator grille and rear bumper were also changed, and machined aluminum was used for some parts. The body was painted in a special Billie Goat Blue shade from BASF Glasurit.

The interior was created by Upholstery Unlimited. The dashboard was moved forward by 10.2 cm and lowered by 5.1 cm. The interior was trimmed in leather, speaker grilles were 3D printed, and the factory radio was supplemented with Bluetooth.
The gear selector was made from a reworked coffee machine portafilter. The convertible also received Dynamat sound insulation and a new black soft top.
