Americans Named the Most Reliable Cars of Recent Years

The latest reliability rating of cars has been published by the well-known American agency J.D. Power. This time, experts evaluated cars released in 2018-2021.

As before, J.D. Power surveyed car owners to find out about malfunctions. The number of problems per 100 cars became the main evaluation criterion.

Lexus regained the lead in 2021 with 81 breakdowns per 1000 cars. The second place goes to Porsche (86 breakdowns per 100 cars). Porsche 911 was recognized as the most reliable car model.

Kia made a huge breakthrough, rising from 14th to 3rd place. Meanwhile, last year’s leader Genesis dropped to the 8th position.

The least reliable cars are Jaguar, Alfa Romeo, and Land Rover. Overall, in 2021 the quality of cars improved and the average market figure improved from 134 to 121 breakdowns per 1000 cars.
