Cadillac simultaneously presented two charged sedans, CT4-V Blackwing and CT5-V Blackwing. They will challenge the BMW M3 and M5 respectively, but will be much cheaper. Compared to the standard Cadillac CT4-V and CT5-V, the Blackwing versions are much more powerful.

The new Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing replaces the ATS-V model and costs starting from $60,000. It’s equipped with a 3.6-liter 472-horsepower twin-turbo V6 and can accelerate to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 304 km/h.

Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing, like its predecessor the CTS-V, is equipped with a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 from the previous Corvette. The engine is more powerful than that of the BMW M5 — 668 hp and a huge 895 Nm of torque. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes 3.7 seconds, with a top speed exceeding 320 km/h. All this for $85,000.

Both cars offer a choice between a 6-speed manual and a 10-speed automatic transmission. They received enhanced suspension with adaptive dampers, a limited-slip differential, and Brembo brakes (ceramic brakes are available for CT5-V).

The cars are recognizable by their body kits, rear spoilers, and enlarged air intakes. The Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing has 18-inch forged wheels, while the CT5-V Blackwing has 19-inch ones.

The interior features sports seats and a steering wheel, while the virtual dashboard graphics have been changed. Carbon and suede finishes are available for an extra charge.
