The Maxus automotive brand officially appeared in Ukraine only at the beginning of 2024, although in Europe and beyond it is already well recognized. Moreover, for example, in Germany some Maxus models (especially electric ones) compete with such manufacturers as Volkswagen and Mercedes-Benz. As for Ukraine, the Maxus T90 pickup and the electric crossover Euniq 6 took honorable places in the Car of the Year 2024 competition! Yes, the T90 model entered the top 3 pickups, and the Euniq 6 made it to the list of best urban crossovers. So, what are these cars and are they really worth attention and capable of competing with global bestsellers? Starting now, the Maxus lineup in Ukraine includes 3 passenger cars (a crossover and two minivans), 1 pickup, and 3 commercial vehicle models, which have more than 10 modifications. All of them are electric, except for commercial vehicles (which can be either fuel or electric powered). With regard to equipment level, everything is great here: 360 camera, adaptive cruise control, CarPlay, all possible mirror heaters and power drives, multi-zone climate control, leather seats, touchscreen display, 8 speakers, lane support systems, blind spot control, automatic braking, and more. Since this is an electric car, it is worth noting that the Euniq 6 has a 70 kWh battery that provides a range of up to 452 km! And most importantly, the price. Despite its electric nature, considerable size, and high equipment level, you can buy the Maxus electric crossover in Ukraine starting from 33,953 euros, but there is currently a promotional price of 30,990 euros! At the same time, the buyer is not left alone and can receive an official warranty, which is usually an unprecedented luxury for electric vehicle owners in our country. Car warranty: 5 years (or 100,000 km). Battery warranty – 8 years (or 200,000 km). Certainly, in today’s conditions, the pickup in most Ukrainians’ minds is associated with frontline use. However, for several years now, more and more of our compatriots have been choosing pickups. Of course, the percentage ratio is far from that in America, but nevertheless. And specifically, the Maxus T90 is one of the few pickups on electric traction! In terms of size, the electric pickup from Maxus is almost 200 mm larger than the Mitsubishi L200 and 40 mm longer than the new Toyota Hilux. Thanks to this, the T90 is very spacious inside, as for a pickup, and the rear row is organized not as in most competitors where you have to tuck your legs and sit almost vertically. In the Maxus T90 salon, rear passengers can be accommodated comfortably, and there is plenty of legroom. The load capacity is also significant – 1000 kg! The fully electric T90 pickup is equipped with a top-notch 88.55 kWh battery and can travel up to 471 kilometers without recharging – this is a very good indicator for any electric vehicle, not to mention a massive cargo-passenger pickup. It is also worth noting that the Maxus electric pickup is equipped as a premium-class car, not as a ‘workhorse’. Rain and light sensors, CarPlay, LED headlights, emergency braking system, and more. An important point: since this is a commercial type of vehicle, from March 2024, VAT is cancelled on such cars! This makes this model even more affordable in Ukraine. You can buy the electric T90 pickup from the official Maxus dealer ‘AIDGEE’ for 42,771 euros, making this electric pickup one of the most affordable in the primary market of new cars! In addition to the electric crossover Euniq 6 and the T90 pickup, you can purchase the luxurious electric minivan MIFA9 and commercial transport with IC engines or on electric traction in Ukraine. You can familiarize yourself with the assortment and prices of Maxus cars at the official representative’s website maxus-motors.com.ua or by visiting the showroom in Kyiv at (Bortnichi, Zabolotny street, 1A).
