The luxury Bentley Batur lineup has been expanded – a convertible has joined the coupe. The most expensive car in the brand’s history was presented in the UK. This was reported by Focus. The Bentley Batur Convertible was developed by the Mulliner studio, which creates the most luxurious models of the brand. Only 16 such convertibles will be produced, priced at over 2 million pounds ($2.5 million). There will be no two identical cars among them, as owners will be able to personalize the Batur – choose exclusive colors and finishes. The front of the new Bentley Batur Convertible is identical to the coupe. It has a long hood, a wide radiator grille, and slanting headlights. Its soft top folds in 19 seconds with the help of an electric drive at speeds up to 50 km/h and is hidden under two tonneau covers. A sharpened spoiler appeared on the trunk lid. Standard are 22-inch wheels. The interior of the first Bentley Batur Convertible is decorated with leather and wood with orange accents, and its drive mode selector joystick is covered in rose gold. A modern virtual instrument cluster is combined with classic dials on the central panel. The seats are separated by a high tunnel. The Bentley Batur convertible is equipped with a 6.0-liter twin-turbo W12 engine producing 750 hp and 1000 Nm, as well as an 8-speed automatic transmission. Its top speed exceeds 330 km/h. Most likely, this is the last 12-cylinder Bentley.
