Despite the cessation of production in Kaliningrad, where factory workers now gather berries instead of BMWs, the German automotive company is not planning to leave Russia. Moreover, unlike Renault and GM, BMW’s Russian representative office not only is not closing its office but is also moving to a new, more modern business center!

As reported by 5Koleso, quoting the general director of BMW Group Russia, Irina Shramko, the Russian representative of the Bavarian brand “is pleased that, despite the challenging situation in the market, we were able to complete the project launched a year ago to create a new space for continuing our Russian business. Today, more than ever, it is important to work together, finding flexible solutions, and our new Moscow home in Sokol is perfect for this”, stated the General Director of BMW Group Russia, Irina Shramko.
Apart from BMW, the Italian company Lamborghini (which, as a reminder, belongs to the German Volkswagen) also announced its intentions to resume operations in Russia: they are currently working on how to import cars from Italy, which have been banned as luxury items over 50,000 euros.

In connection with such decisions by leading international car brands, a few questions arise:
- What is this Macronism?
- Were there any Scholtzes in the families of those who made such decisions, or are they the first?
