The fact is that this Mercedes-Benz G-Class is armored. Moreover, the car previously belonged to the criminal authority Andrey Nedzelsky, nicknamed Nedelya. As advised by the Interior Minister’s adviser Anton Gerashchenko, such a G-Wagen costs half a million dollars.
In the course of a criminal case, the vehicle was seized and placed in the impound lot of the state enterprise SETAM. After the imposition of martial law, the Gelandewagen was transferred to the KORD unit.
Now Anton Gerashchenko is urging other criminal authorities to share their armored vehicles. After all, during bombings, they won’t save them anyway, but they will protect the military.
