As TopGir has written many times, rumors about the Bugatti Veyron in Ukraine have been circulating for a long time. They say there is not even just one such car in our country. By the way, these rumors were finally confirmed ten years later, and we published photos of another Ukrainian Bugatti. It is also possible that Ukrainian millionaires and billionaires could very well own Bugattis but keep their cars abroad – where the roads are better, and servicing is easier.

The Bugatti hypercar is equipped with an 8.0-liter W16 with four turbochargers.
Its power is 1001 hp at 6000 rpm, and the maximum torque is 1250 N∙m at 2200 rpm. The engine is paired with a 7-speed robotized gearbox with two clutches – one of the first such transmissions on production cars. Such a coupe can accelerate to a hundred in 2.5 s, and to 300 km/h in 16.7 s. The maximum speed of this almost two-ton beast is 408 km/h. By the way, the speed record on a Bugatti Veyron was set in 2006 by Top Gear presenter James May.
So, this hypercar even turns Captain Slow into a superhero. 
Of course, the hurricane-like characteristics come with a price – enormous fuel consumption – 40.4 l/100 km in the urban cycle and 14.7 l/100 km on the highway. At maximum speed, it’s a whopping 78 l/100 km!
So, a full tank only lasts for 12 minutes! However, we don’t think the owner is too concerned about that.

Judging by the photos, before us is a standard Bugatti Veyron coupe. 178 of these were released at the time, and the total production was 450 units over 10 years (2005-2015). You could buy a new Bugatti Veyron for at least 1.75 million dollars.
Maintenance and repair of a Bugatti – are also incredibly expensive. For example, Bugatti Veyron tires can withstand 400 km/h for only 15 minutes. And this is despite the fact that Michelin went to great lengths to create such high-speed tires.
Their cost is almost 10,000 dollars per set. Not everyone knows that the fate of the Bugatti Veyron was essentially decided by the then head of Volkswagen Group Ferdinand Piech. It was he who insisted on launching this incredible, innovative, but wildly unprofitable model into production. Yes, indeed, the Veyron never paid for itself. In fact, the German concern lost 6 million dollars on each hypercar.
But they benefited from the advertising, and Bugatti was finally revived. Piech himself bought two Bugattis. 
We won’t be original if we say that the Bugatti Veyron is the coolest car in Ukraine of all time.
