For some, car body care is limited to periodic washing and applying liquid wax (at best – solid wax), while for others, it is a whole series of procedures. The latter can also include those who resort to detailing services. This is a relatively new concept for Ukraine, involving total cleaning and treatment of all surfaces and parts of the car using auto cosmetics.
Recently, at car washes and specialized centers, clients increasingly request not the application of solid wax or Teflon but “liquid glass,” ceramics, etc. Today, there are also special compositions for body protection, the application of which, as well as their cost, cannot be called a cheap pleasure, but they protect the body for a long time and make the color deeper and shine more durable and impressive. 
Speaking about car operation in the spring-summer period, it is important not to forget that various types of organic matter (bird droppings, bugs, etc.) and tar after road repairs leave difficult-to-remove marks, so it is better to wash them off immediately rather than wait until they “bake” under the hot sun and consequently lead to deterioration of the paintwork in some areas. 
Considering fuel prices and income levels, we would advise not only replacing winter tires with summer ones (this is not even up for discussion) but also inflating them 0.1-0.2 atmospheres more than recommended by the manufacturer. Why?
This will improve rolling resistance and reduce fuel consumption, especially noticeable when driving on the highway and over long distances. How often should you wash cars in the spring-summer? Don’t go to extremes – there’s no need to wash every day, but not once a month either. Depending on the conditions of operation and weather, it’s better to rinse the body as it gets dirty.
