What MAZ and Lamborghini Diablo Have in Common en

Today marks the 30th anniversary of the legendary Lamborghini Diablo, and in this regard, we remembered an interesting fact. Did you know that the famous supercar shares some parts with MAZ?

No, it’s not a joke – we are talking about the characteristic round lights. The rear optics Hella 964 169 were initially designed to be universal and were installed on a variety of vehicles. The Diablo got them in its final version VT 6.0.

In fact, the same lights are still installed on MAZ buses and trolleybuses that travel around Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities.

By the way, the Lamborghini Diablo is not the only supercar that received the Hella 964 169 lights. They were also used on the Pagani Zonda, the Saleen S7, and the Spyker C8. Yes, even supercar manufacturers know how to save costs.

By the way, the front optics of the Lamborghini Diablo after 1998 were also borrowed. This time, the donor was the sports car Nissan 300 ZX.
