Venturi 400 GT is a cult small-scale supercar of the 90s. Before the arrival of the Bugatti Veyron, it was considered a French hypercar, which, by the way, became the first production car with carbon brakes. But do you know that this legend has a bunch of ‘trivial’ details from half a dozen inexpensive models of completely different brands?

Only 13 copies of the 400 GT were sold in two years of production (each cost around 200 thousand dollars). As for the specifications, they are impressive for the cars of the nineties: 0 to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds, a top speed of 290 km/h. And now, attention…
Few people know, but the small (but very proud) company Venturi did not hesitate to borrow side windows from the Renault Fuego, mirrors from the Citroen CX, a single wiper from the 190 Mercedes, and lights (partially) from the ‘ancient’ Renault 5 mixed with lighting from the BMW 3-series.
