Does Bentley dilute its principles by creating such special orders?

Bentley presents a unique Bentayga in pink color

In the modern world, it is not enough to just buy a standard Bentley. With the increase in production, the likelihood of seeing the same car on someone else has significantly increased. That is why most clients choose individual options to create a unique specimen.

However, such personalization also has its drawbacks. By fulfilling any client wishes, manufacturers gain additional profit, but sometimes face challenges when requests contradict the brand’s image. A refusal can lead to the loss of clients, who will turn to competitors.

Pink Bentayga – an example of a bold choice

The presented car is a vivid example of a non-standard approach. Initially, it was supposed to be a classic Bentayga EWB Azure in a calm blue color, but after the work of the Mulliner department, it acquired a bright pink hue. For balance, the Blackline option was chosen, which removed chrome and added black accents.

Bentley notes that clients actively participate in the creation of unique cars within the “Co-Creation” process.

The interior also combines pink and black colors, but the latter predominates here. The manufacturer emphasizes that each such car is manufactured in compliance with high quality standards. Although the color may be controversial, this Bentayga proves that luxury can be non-standard.

This example shows how views on premium cars are changing. More and more often, clients want not just status, but also the opportunity to express their individuality. Bentley, like other manufacturers, is in search of a balance between tradition and bold experiments.
