This dealer is quietly selling off dozens of nearly new electric vehicles from a defunct manufacturer at the price of a used Corolla

New Fisker Oceans at a reduced price

Despite the bankruptcy of Fisker, the Newport Fisker dealership in California is offering a whole fleet of nearly new Ocean electric vehicles. Most of the 24 available cars have only about 50 miles on them, and prices have dropped by almost half compared to the original cost.

Particular attention is drawn to 15 cars in the top One trim, which offers 564 horsepower and a range of 360 miles. However, potential buyers might be deterred by the lack of official support due to the closure of the manufacturing company.

Market situation

Some buyers have already purchased similar cars and remain satisfied, but experts warn of potential service issues. Other dealers are also offering new Oceans, but at higher prices – from 31 to 37 thousand dollars. It’s interesting to see if there will be brave souls willing to take such a risk, and what price will be attractive enough for such a gamble.

Despite all the difficulties, these cars remain an interesting option for electric vehicle enthusiasts, especially considering their technical characteristics. However, long-term operation may require non-standard solutions and additional efforts to keep the car in working condition.
