Jeep Introduces Wagoneer COV for Law Enforcement

Jeep has introduced a new special version of the Wagoneer COV, created for the needs of law enforcement agencies in the US and Canada. This model, although based on the production Wagoneer, has received a number of unique features that make it an ideal option for official needs.

Technical Features

Among the key differences is a special lighting system with blue and red flashing lights embedded in the radiator grille, visors, and rear window. The car is also equipped with a powerful warning audio system and an expanded electrical network for connecting official equipment.

“From motorcycles in Washington to the logistical needs in every state, the Wagoneer COV will become the new leader in the field of secure VIP transportation,” said Ryan Austin, Stellantis Law Enforcement Program Manager.

Under the hood remains the familiar 3.0-liter Hurricane biturbo engine, but the model has received an updated Quadra-Lift suspension for comfortable travel. Safety systems include a night vision camera mode, collision warning, and automatic braking.

The manufacturer has already opened pre-orders for the model through its dealer network, but exact prices have not yet been disclosed. According to company representatives, the Wagoneer COV has already generated significant interest from government agencies.

This special version of the Wagoneer demonstrates how manufacturers adapt their civilian models for special needs. At the same time, the presence of features such as an anti-theft system indicates that even premium-class service vehicles can become a target for criminals.
