This Toyota Thinks It’s a Bugatti, Ford, and Nissan

What happens when a person can’t choose between a Bugatti, Ford GT, and Nissan, but only has space for one car? It turns out, they build this. The owner of this strange custom creation decided that combining favorite models into one car was the only logical solution. Even more amazing is that under the body, likely made of fiberglass, hides…

Yes, you read that right. It’s a 1998 Toyota Celica, although the description has almost no information about the engine. It is only known that the car has a manual transmission and just 37,500 km on the odometer, which is certainly nice, but the real star here is the body.

Despite its dubious origins, the body looks quite neat. Hidden headlights frame a massive radiator grille reminiscent of the new Toyota Supra’s front-end design.

The rear is adorned with taillights and what appear to be exhaust tips integrated into the central part of the bumper. It’s hard to say if they are functional, but the execution looks quality. Air intakes and ventilation holes are scattered all over the body, which could be either real or decorative.

The interior is no less extravagant. A steering wheel-yoke, yes, you read that right, has a quick-release mechanism, and the upholstery combines dark red and black colors. Due to the low-quality photos, it’s hard to be sure, but all four seats appear to be Recaro products.

Interested parties can purchase this specimen for $11,872 at the current exchange rate of the Moroccan dirham. Yes, here’s the main caveat – the car is being sold in Morocco, which somewhat explains its extravagance.

This country, especially Marrakech, is known for its supercar culture. The streets are full of exotic cars, so this strange project is just one of many unusual specimens. If you’ve dreamed of the look of a Bugatti without the corresponding price, this is your chance to stand out.

Given that the car is over 25 years old, it can be legally imported into the USA and Canada. Would you risk such a custom project? We’ve already seen many unusual cars. Share your thoughts in the comments.
