Recently, the head of the State Agency for Reconstruction, Mustafa Nayyem, announced the return to the toll road project at the roundtable ‘Transport, Logistics and Infrastructure’ during the Conference on Rebuilding Ukraine in London. According to him, preparations are currently underway for the development of technical and economic justification. At the first stage, toll roads in Ukraine are expected to appear in five regions – Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, Lviv, Odesa, and Poltava. Work on this project began even before the start of the full-scale invasion and the corresponding bill was registered. Its implementation will begin after partners are found. Now there is information that the new toll roads will not be available to everyone, but only to trucks weighing over 12 tons. Owners of passenger cars have nothing to worry about.
