Ferrari debuts fastest hypercar in history (video)

In Italy, the new Ferrari F80 was presented. The flagship hypercar of the brand will be released in 2025-2027 in a limited series of 799 cars with a price of 3.6 million euros. This was reported by Focus. The Ferrari F80 hypercar is the successor to the legendary models F40, F50, Enzo, and LaFerrari. Its design incorporates technologies from the Ferrari 499P sports prototype, which twice won the prestigious 24-hour races at Le Mans. Like its famous predecessors, the design of the Ferrari F80 is more dictated by aerodynamics than aesthetics. The low and wide coupe with a pronounced ‘nose’ in profile resembles the LaFerrari predecessor, and its rear end features elements from the Ferrari F40 and F50 – an anti-wing and ‘gills’ on the hood. The doors open upwards. The Ferrari F80 coupe is based on a carbon monocoque, with aluminum and titanium also used in its construction. The downforce reaches 1050 kg at 250 km/h. The interior is adorned with carbon and Alcantara. Instrument displays are presented on a display, with another screen installed on the central panel. The driver’s and passenger’s sport seats are separated by a console, with the driver’s seat being red. The Ferrari 499P essentially borrowed an all-wheel-drive hybrid powertrain. The high-revving 3.0-liter V6 twin-turbo producing 900 hp at 9000 rpm works together with three electric motors, providing an additional 325 hp. The total output is 1200 hp. The new Ferrari F80 can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.15 s, and from 0 to 200 km/h in 5.75 s. The top speed exceeds 350 km/h. This is the most powerful and fastest Ferrari in history. The Ferrari F80 hypercar received an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission, active suspension, and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires sized 285/30 ZR20 in the front and 345/30 ZR20 in the rear. It is slowed down by next-generation Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes with a reinforced construction.
