A Need For Speed Star Was Imported to Ukraine (photos)

A very rare and iconic car was spotted in Western Ukraine – the rotary Mazda RX-7. This third-generation model was produced in the 90s and so-called ‘oldies’ remember it well as a star of the computer game Need For Speed.

Let us recall that the series of racing computer games appeared in 1994 and over the years has become the most successful automotive game in the world. As for this particular specimen, it was spotted on a trailer in Lutsk, and if the plates are indeed real (and not ‘souvenir’), the car was imported from Japan.

One way or another, given the visually collectible condition of this Mazda RX-7, the owner likely paid a considerable sum for it. A car in such condition can cost several tens of thousands of dollars, not including delivery and customs clearance costs.

Recall that last year TopGir wrote about a mysterious scheme for importing rare cars from Japan to Ukraine.
