Ferrari and Lamborghini leave the Russian market and help Ukraine

Sanctions against the Russian Federation are supported not only by major car manufacturers but also by small-scale supercar producers. Ferrari and Lamborghini have announced the cessation of sales in the aggressor country.

Ferrari has halted the production of cars for Russian clients and allocated one million euros to support Ukraine. Through the mediation of the Emilia-Romagna authorities, the funds will be donated to the Red Cross and the UN, as well as organizations hosting Ukrainian refugees.

“Given the current situation, Ferrari has decided to suspend the production of cars for the Russian market until further notice. We continue to closely monitor the situation, and we will always comply with all rules, regulations, and sanctions,” said the statement published on Ferrari’s website. Lamborghini announced the suspension of business relations with Russia and also promised to support refugees. So now Russia is also left without supercars, although considering the economic situation following the imposition of sanctions, it is unlikely that there would currently be many willing to buy a supercar there.
