Ferrari Did Not Revive the 288 GTO, But Someone Else Nailed It Perfectly

Unique Ferrari 273 Potenza: A Fusion of Classic and Modern

This custom Ferrari 273 Potenza impresses with its balance between classic design and modern technology. Although it is based on the Ferrari F8 Tributo, the Italian atelier Manifattura Automobili Torino (MAT) has completely reimagined the car, drawing inspiration from the brand’s historical models.

The MAT team had already made a name for itself with the restyling of the Lancia Stratos, and now it has presented an equally impressive work. The carbon fiber body with a red tint, new panels, and exclusive details make this model special.

Design and Technical Features

The front end received a new bumper with square LED daytime running lights and a hood with powerful ventilation openings. The rear stands out with dark red carbon, a titanium exhaust system, and original aerodynamic solutions.

The interior has also undergone serious changes: a redesigned center tunnel, a new gear selector, and an updated climate control panel. The V8 engine was tuned, increasing its power to over 800 horsepower, making this model a true engineering masterpiece.

Although Ferrari never officially released such a model, the 273 Potenza demonstrates what a modern interpretation of classic design could look like. This car is not just a restyling, but a full-fledged embodiment of the dream of a perfect blend of past and future.
