The Ministry of Economy has published a list of cars subject to the transport tax in 2025, totaling over 350 models and modifications. This was reported by Focus. The transport tax in Ukraine (also known as the luxury tax) in 2025 applies to cars valued at over 3 million hryvnias (375 minimum wages) and up to 5 years old. The luxury tax rate remains at 25,000 hryvnias per year. Upon receiving the tax assessment, individuals have 60 days to pay, while legal entities have 30 days. Traditionally, the list of cars subject to the luxury tax is approved annually. This year’s list includes new supercars like Aston Martin DB12, Lamborghini Revuelto, Maserati MC20, an updated hybrid Bentley Continental GT, and the electric car Rolls-Royce Spectre. The list also includes rarities like Lotus Emira, Ineos off-road vehicles, limited edition Porsche 911 Turbo 50 Years, and motorhomes like Hymer-Mercedes. The majority of luxury models are from Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Porsche, and Land Rover. However, supercars from Ferrari and McLaren are completely exempt from the transport tax in 2025. None of their models are listed, despite recent imports to Ukraine. Also absent are electric cars like Tesla or Rivian, whose most expensive versions cost over 3 million hryvnias.
