The new Pagani Huayra R has a different engine: while the standard version’s 6.0-liter V12 is twin-turbocharged, this model features a naturally aspirated engine. However, it is even more powerful – 850 hp at 8250 rpm.
In fact, the engine revs up to 9000 rpm, and the sporty exhaust makes its sound very loud. The V12 works in tandem with a racing 6-speed sequential gearbox.
The Pagani Huayra R is equipped with adaptive dampers and ceramic brakes measuring 410 mm at the front and 390 mm at the rear. Carbon and titanium are extensively used in its construction, making the car weigh just 1050 kg.
Moreover, the aerodynamic package provides 1000 kg of downforce at 320 km/h. The coupe features a new body kit, a huge rear wing and diffuser, and a small fin on the roof. Inside the cabin, there is a safety cage and a fire extinguishing system.
