Honda CR-V recently received a new version that may interest not only travel enthusiasts, but also those looking for unconventional solutions for mobile living. The company introduced the revamped CR-V as a camper – Dream Pod, which includes everything necessary for comfortable living on wheels.
Features of the Honda CR-V Dream Pod: the built-in Egoe Nestboard 650 module contains a kitchen stove, sink, folding sofa for two people. The car is also equipped with pull-out tables, LED lamps, USB ports, blackout curtains on the windows, and a bike mounting system.
Despite the fact that this project was developed for the European market, the idea of mobile living, as Honda’s experience shows, could become very relevant for Ukraine in today’s conditions.
Considering the huge number of internally displaced persons due to Russia’s aggression, similar solutions could be effective for temporary housing that is not only mobile but also autonomous. The mobility of such vehicles allows for quick relocation to safer places, and autonomy provides the ability to live without additional resources. Moreover, this flexibility allows for adaptation to changing conditions, which is very important in the current situation. The only question is the price… Because the cost of such an autonomous “house on wheels” reaches 70,000 euros.
