Hyundai updated the design of its budget minivan to make it more noticeable

Updated Hyundai Stargazer prepares for premiere

The Hyundai Stargazer minivan with three rows of seats debuted in 2022. After three years, the model is preparing for a facelift that will bring an updated design.

Pre-release images from Indonesia indicate significant changes in appearance. A video of an uncamouflaged prototype confirms that the update will affect the front and rear of the car.

Design changes

The most noticeable changes are the new front end with a longer hood, H-shaped headlights, and a larger radiator grille. The rear is also updated: smaller LED taillights and a license plate relocated to the bumper.

The dimensions will remain almost unchanged, although design changes may slightly affect the length. The wheelbase (2,780 mm) will remain the same.

Interior and technical features

The interior may receive an updated multimedia system and a digital instrument panel. The minivan will still offer 6- and 7-seat configurations.

Engineers may have retuned the suspension to improve comfort, especially on the uneven roads of Indonesia. The 1.5-liter engine (113 hp) will remain unchanged, as will the transmission options – manual or CVT.

The premiere of the updated Hyundai Stargazer is scheduled for July 24, 2025, at the auto show in Indonesia. This model continues the line of affordable family minivans, adapted for urban conditions and long trips. A feature of the facelift is the emphasis on a more modern design that aligns with the latest brand trends.
