by The Korean auto giant has recently been astonishing with its premium novelties, some of which, by the way, are already driving on our roads. In particular, we are talking about the crossover Genesis GV80 in Ukraine. Today, Hyundai presented a very impressive shooting brake of the premium Genesis brand, which is called the G70 Shooting Brake.
The sports wagon is expected to compete with cars such as the Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo and Mercedes CLS Shooting Brake. At the same time, the Korean novelty will be considerably cheaper. As for the appearance – in our opinion, the Genesis G70 Shooting Brake turned out to be cool and original. Unlike many models from various brands, the car doesn’t resemble others.
The Genesis wagon is built on the platform of the GV70 crossover and is comparable in size to the massive Genesis G80 sedan. By the way, compared to the 4-door model, the shooting brake’s trunk is 40% larger.
The technical specifications of the G70 Shooting Brake are still unknown. However, there is information that in Europe, you will be able to purchase the luxurious wagon from Hyundai with a 2-liter turbo petrol engine (power – 197 hp or 252 hp) or a 2.2-liter turbodiesel with 202 horsepower. The transmission is an 8-speed automatic. It’s also worth noting that the G70 Shooting Brake will come standard with all-wheel drive.
The exact price will be known closer to the start of production, which is scheduled for the second half of 2021.
